Source of Ganga at Himalaya, 恆河發源地

The source of the river Ganga - Gaumukh, meaning cow's mouth. At an altitude of 4200 metres above the sea level is Gangotri Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in Himalayas. I went there in April 2010, I didn't bring enough clothes, no hikking equipment, there is very less oxygen, it was very difficult for me to take breathe. When we see the beauty of nature, anything we could bear. Finally, we took bath in icy water at the source of Holy River, Indian belive that River Ganga could remove all our sins if we take bath inside. That kind of bath means just put our body inside the river with our clothes. In ancient time, so many sadhu go there to worship, there is a Holy Place of Lord Shiva. According to Hindu Religion, starting place of River Ganga is located on the top of Lord Shiva's head. One mountain is called "Shivling" we also could found it there. Nowaday, I heard that there are still some great sadhu living in the cave at Tapovan, few hours away from Gaumukh, they don't need to eat anything, just meditate, I've found so many caves in Himalaya during the journey, all the things in my eyes was so amazing. I'll never forget this journey in my life.

We took these photoes in Kochi, Kelara, South India. There is My first stop of my half year Indian trip in Nov. 2009. I just met all those people first time, but we all felt extremely joy after our programme, there are something amazing in these photoes, every photoes emit joy and the power of love, hope u could feel it!

這是我09年11月啟程－半年印度之旅的第一站,南印度喀拉拉科欽. 我們跟他們全部人都是第一次見面, 這些照片是在我們參加活動後感到無法形容的內在喜悅情況下拍出來的, 這些照片有些特別的光出現, 有些背景某部份扭曲, 但每張照片都散發著喜悅及無所不在的愛的力量, 希望你也能感受出來.

Shri Hanuman Chalisa 2010

Shri Hanuman Chalisa was sung by Dr. Arun Apte & his wife Mrs. Surekha Apte. It was composed by Saint Tulsidas, this song praising the brave deeds of Shri Hanuman bestows us with courage. 


I went to Himalaya to visit Gaumukh (the Source of River Ganga) this April. According to Indian culture, there is the place of Shri Shiva, River Ganga comes from his head, it is over 4000M above sea level. It was so difficult for me to go there, not enough clothes, less oxygen, cold and unstable climate, wild animal will come anytime, deer, lion, etc.
This video has some photoes of Himalaya, Gaumukh (source of River Ganga), Shivling, Baghirathi Parbat, those places are inside Gangotri National Park, We have to take permission from police to go there. This park is not always open and danger. 




During this trip, I played this song on my mobile, finally I reached there and come back safely. With the blessing of Shri Hanuman, all difficult tasks of the world are rendered easy.

半年印度之旅

去年十一月啟程去了印度, 開始了我半年的學習生涯, 學習不單只印度音樂, 還有很多人生哲理, 在印度確實經歷不一樣的體驗, 當中亦認識了很多瑜伽練習者, 他們都很親切, 像摯友一樣.

這次我的古典音樂老師是一個虔誠的婆羅門, 教授北印度HINDUSTANI CLASSIAL MUSIC. 雖然年輕, 但在當地已有一定的知名度, 父母和妻子亦是音樂家, 他英語亦很好, 經常舉一些例子令學生更容易理解和掌握，很有耐心地教導, 亦沒有一般大師要學生久等的習慣，能找到這樣的老師，真是上天的恩賜。

回想起每次上課來回要一個多小時車程, 都要坐那些俗稱”熱狗”巴士, 即係無冷氣, 加上印度天氣酷熱, 真係熱到隻狗咁. 最初學坐車, 語言又不通, 講左好多次, 賣票叔叔都唔知我要去邊, 又唔知係唔係上錯車, 因為印度絕大部份巴士無英文, 連阿拉伯數目字都欠奉, 但最終都順利到達了那市鎮, 下車後再步行十五分鐘左右便到達教室, 某些路當有車走過時仍然沙塵滾滾, 但有時又會見到從農村來的”牛牛車”, 都幾有趣!

踏進教室便感到另一種氣氛, 心境平靜, 喜悅, 一種言語無法形容的感覺, 當TAMPURA這樂器聲響起，課堂便開始. 因為老師是印度教神袛克里希納(KRISHNA)的信徒, 所以教授的樂曲都是以頌讚克里希納為主. 根據印度的古老傳統，音樂本應純粹為頌讚上天的恩德，乃回敬上天的神聖禮物，讓內在情感向上天表達。內在情感得以抒發，心靈亦得到慰藉。　

有一天下課後繼續留在教室作旁聽, 眾多學生中, 大部份都是正在求學, 最小的只有五歳, 他剛開始用他的小手在塔布拉鼓(TABLA)上輕輕地拍呀拍. 但三數年後的他便能掌握各種不同的技法, 很多比他年長一些的學生已打得很出色了. 看見很多純真的小朋友一起學習打鼓, 感覺自己也變得純真了. 來這裡學習唱歌的學生一般是十多歲, 也有一些成年人.

自小雖喜歡唱歌, 但在未接觸印度音樂前連五線譜也不懂看. 後期在練習瑜伽的過程中發覺自己對印度音樂有濃厚興趣, 逐漸開始慢慢探索. 最初是自學, 數年前開始在公開場合參與演出, 後期亦參與簧風琴(HARMONIUM)伴奏, 感覺像是一直以來, 有一位無形的導師在身邊教導, 這一切都是上天的恩賜, 希望將來更多人可以分享這份祝福!

螢火蟲的真面目 True face of Firefly

去年十一月啟程到印度, 在吉隆坡一個yogini的家停留了數天, 她十分親切, 有一晚她說帶我去一個很特別的地方-- 螢火蟲公園, 當我知道的時候十分雀躍, 小時候已很想看螢火蟲, 但一直沒有機會. 我們坐車時, 沿路已經有一些迎面飛來, 到達公園後我們坐舢舨遊河, 黑暗中只看見樹上無數的閃爍光芒, 一閃一閃,飛來飛去, 有時還飛到我們身邊, 圍著我們飛, 甚至停留在我們身上, 好像身處夢幻一樣, 那一刻我們完全融入這大自然當中.

I started my journey to India in Nov last year, stayed in one yogini's home for few days in Kulua Lumpur, she is really nice lady. One night, she took me to firefly park. I was very exciting. In the dark, we have seen so many fire fly in the tree along the river, looks like Christmans tree, it seems we are in fantasyland.

有一隻很有趣, 它好像捨不得我離開, 飛到我的身上不肯走, 直至我們的舢舨泊回碼頭, 我們便趁這機會拍下它的真面目. 隨著人類不斷破壞大自然, 它們的數量日漸減少, 希望我們多些反思, 珍借身邊的一切!

One of it didn't want to go, stayed with me untill our boat reached the pier, so we have got chance to see its ture face. Along with the human being destroys the nature, their quantity reduces day after day, Let's introspect, treasure our nature!

Performance at Vashi Hospital's Anniversary on 19 Feb 2010

Music Performance at Vashi Hospital's Anniversary on 19 Feb 2010 evening. At the same event, Dr.Rajesh Universe and Pt. Subramanian had great Music performance there, Two Chinese Tai chi master also performed Tai Chi. When I studied Indian classical music almost 6 months this time in India, so many people gave me backup, support, love and caring. I'd like to say thank you from the buttom of my heart to those people, hope we can keep and spread those joy and harmony to others!

2010年2月19日是印度 Vashi Hospital 的週年紀念, 晚上有音樂節目, 很難得有幸參與演出. 同場有資深音樂老師 Pt. Subramanian 及音樂家 Dr.Rajesh Universe 的精彩音樂演出, 也有中國太極老師表演太極. 這次去了印度學古典音樂差不多半年了, 在這半年裡沒間斷地碰見中國各地的練習者，當晚來自世界各地的外國練習者當中差不多一半是中國人，能去到印度Vashi真是一件不容易的事, 可見中國人的願力有多強。在這裡能跟這麼多練習者交流，讓上天的愛在我們彼此之間流通是我的福氣，當地的印度練習者也給我很多支持, 鼓勵, 愛與關懷. 在此衷心感謝這些朋友, 希望我們能保持這喜悅與和諧, 不斷地把它傳開去!

SAD DEMISE of Dr. (Pt.) Arun Apteji

Dr. (Pt.) Arun Apteji, my music guru who enlightened me so many things not only in music field.

Such great yogi passed away on 15-05-2010 in the morning due to an acute chest infection of which he was suffering from, for last few days.

He was born in a family of musicians on 25th November, 1951 at a place called Ahmadnagar, in Maharashtra. His highly evolved Music elevates the listener. It is really helps me to improve my music level and more easier to go deep meditation. His powerful music really change me a lot.

I was so sad when I heard this news on that day. I just came back HK on 13th night from Mumbai, after two days, I've got this news. I met him in Dec last year, there is a music workshop at Vaitarna Music Academy, he looked good at that time, we also spent New year with him. The photo on the left is taken during workshop, I hope he keeps this smile forever, although he really close his eyes now. I will keep singing and practising his music and remember what he taught, remember and repect him forever and ever.

我的音樂老師 Dr. Arun Apteji 於5 月15日因病辭世, 他啟發了我很多很多, 不單只是音樂方面. 當我13號從孟買回來後兩日突然收到這消息, 當時感到很驚訝, 也很傷感. 去年12月我參加了音樂學院的音樂工作坊, 那時看到他還很好的, 我們還跟他一起過新年. 左邊這相片是他主持工作坊的時候拍的, 雖然他現在真的合上了眼, 但希望他永遠保持這微笑. 我會繼續練習他的音樂, 謹記他的教誨, 不會辜負他的一片苦心. 在此永遠懷念他!

Joyful time with yogis

Last month one of my best friend Sunil & Uncle Karande came from india, Sunil brought us so many joyful time with great music, Uncle always enlighten us a lot of things deep inside. We travelled together some place in Hong Kong & mainland China. Uncle always say: 'Anandi Ananda'. When we were together with other yogis, just like in paradise, we enjoyed all the things, all the things become more beautiful, so joyful. Hope u also can feel it from these photoes.

Hong Kong Bhajan Performance at Club O in June 香港六月在Club O的拜讚歌演出

We have Indian Bhajan Performance at Club O in June. Sunil & Uncle Karande who came from India were invited to perform . Sunil who is Indian classical music singer and harmonium player lead us to perform this time. We did learn a lot of things from him, not only music, we also learnt what should be the behavior of a musician. He is humble, loving and innocent people. Although he is great singer, performed so many times in different place of india, we never felt that he showed off. Loving people spread loving vibration. Audience enjoyed very much, they felt very joyful, also felt the vibration flowing, so many good feedback. At that night, I am satisfied that so many people enjoyed to listen or sing bhajan, vibration could be exchanged between different people very nicely through music. Hope this loving vibration could be spread far far away, more people have chance to enjoy it!

我們六月在Club O的印度拜讚歌演出, 邀請了從印度來的Sunil 及Uncle Ekanath. Sunil 善長唱印度古典音樂及演奏印度簧風琴. 這次由他來帶領我們演出, 我們確實從他身上學到很多, 不只是音樂方面, 他還表現出一個音樂家應有的態度. 他很謙卑, 純樸, 真誠及充滿著仁愛. 雖然他是優秀的歌唱家, 多次在印度的不同地方演出, 很但我們從沒有感覺到他在炫耀自己, 表現自己. 充滿愛的人傳播著充滿愛的能量. 在場的觀眾非常享受那內在的喜悅, 亦感受到能量在流動, 有很多很好的回應. 那天晚上, 我感到很滿足, 越來越多人享受著印度拜讚歌, 不管是聽或是唱, 通過音樂, 不同的人也可以在能量上作透徹的交流. 希望這充滿愛的能量可以傳到更遠的地方, 更多人有機會去享受它!

去年最後一場印度拜讚歌公開演出

去年最後一場公開演出是十二月在沙田大會堂, 因為是繼十一月廿四日演出後臨時加開的, 並沒有什麼宣傳, 但出乎意料地有很多觀眾出席, 還記得那時候我們每個人都很用心練習, 即使有幾首新歌, 加上距離十一月演出的日子日漸迫近, 並沒有很多一起練習的機會, 但我們每個人依然很用心, 臨演出前練習時, 感覺到大家真的下了不少功夫, 很難得大家這麼團結地去做, 真的令我很感動, 令我覺得努力是值得的.
可能因為我們都對音樂有著一份無比的熱誠, 加上我們集體地努力學習, 融入整體, 感覺到這一年裡我們在音樂上真的進步了不少. 希望這份對音樂的熱誠, 這份集體的力量會持續下去, 不會因任何事動搖. 最近因為轉了新工作, 工作太疲累, 並沒有太多時間跟大家一起練習, 不過這些美好的回憶會常在心裡, 不會忘記.

Amazing Sunset at Music Academy 令人讚嘆的奇景

Last year I was learning indian classical music at Shri P.K.Salve Kala Pratishthan,that is Music Academy of Sahaja Yoga in Vaitarna India. There was a 4 days music workshop, after two Great gurus performed Sitar and Tabla, we've found something amazing in the sky. It feels like Sahasrara open totally, a lot of light in the sky, very long, full of the entire sky, this is only some part in the video, if u were there, u can feel how amazing it is. Hope u also enjoy it !

去年我去了印度霎哈嘉瑜伽創辦的音樂學院學印度音樂, 那裡有個四天的音樂工作坊, 當Sitar 及 Tabla 老師表演後, 我們發現天空有令人讚嘆的日落奇景, 感覺渾然忘我, 像頂輪都完全打開一樣, 那光線劃破長空, 填滿整個天空, 像把我們都包住了, 這短片只拍到其中一部份, 假若你身在其中, 定能感到上天浩愛的力量多麼偉大, 多麼慈悲. 感覺多麼美好!

His name is AN AN, he was born in SiChuan, now he is living in HK Ocean Park. When he is having its big meal "bamboo", his ears are also moving, so loving !!

HK Public Indian Bhajan Performance 香港公開印度拜讚歌演出

Recently, We have very joyful and sucessful Public Bhajan Performance on 3rd May, I felt extremely joyful after performance, during performance, we performed very harmony and collectively and joyful. Our Leader Alex Hanshaw was also there, he has presentation to introduce Sahaja Yoga and give realisaton to audience.
While we practised bhajan, of course we got a lot of problem, a lot of different idea, reaction, etc... I think it is good thing, it gave us chance to show our love, forgiveness, and tolerance, it made us more collective if we can face ourself to solve those problem. Finally, all of us proved it in the performace that we can made it. So it is not only a performance for public, it is also for us, for our inner-self which can please all the spirit. Jai Shri Mataji !

五月三日我們在銅鑼灣香港中央圖書館有公開印度拜讚歌演出, 在演出當中充份表現出我們的喜悅, 和諧及群體精神, 演出完畢後我亦感到極大的喜樂及平和, 這次Alex也一同參與, 他用投影片介紹霎哈嘉瑜伽及為觀眾帶來他們的自覺.
回想起當初我們練習時確實出現了很多問題, 很多不同的意見, 聲音, 反應等等... 但這些事發生是些好事情, 它給予我們機會去充份表達我們彼此間的愛, 寛恕及包容, 使我們更合群, 若我們能藉此機會真正面對自己內在去解決問題. 最後, 在當晚演出中證實了我們"真的做到了", 現在說起來也有點感動! 這次演出真的不單止是給公眾的, 也是給了我們自已的, 我們的內在, 它取悅我們的靈!
